RHP relies on the parent community to support that growth and development

of the school. Responsibilities and opportunities for parent participation arise

throughout the year, and we ask that families be responsive to requests for help

at these times. We also welcome feedback from families on how you feel you

can best support the school. The success of RHP relies on an active and

engaged parent community, and we look forward to working together to build

our school. More details about how you can be involved will be included in

your enrollment packet in late Spring.

Being a board member means taking on a position of responsibility and leadership

for the Red Hook Playgroup. It is rewarding and challenging work: you will have

the opportunity to work collaboratively with others, work with staff and the parent

community, and, most importantly, to be a meaningful part of maintaining and

developing a high quality preschool for your children and the community. If you

possess a commitment to the success of RHP, you are encouraged to become a

board member.
